Nature project

In nearly every art course that I have completed, I have had to do a Nature project. This has ALWAYS frustrated me because I've never done what I wanted to do, and I've never really liked it. So I thought that if I completed my own nature project that it would be more interesting because it would be how I wanted it to be, and do it my own way.

I started this by researching into artists that I already knew that dealt with nature such as Andy Goldsworthy and his leaf work. 

I decided to use the letterpress facilities as I was inducted to use them and i thought it was really fun and would be useful in some projects. I thought that this would be a good idea for this project because in the induction, I was taught how to print onto leaves and i really liked the results which gave me the idea for this. 

Alien sweded movie.

This is a video that me and a few friends created within the first few weeks of the Interactive arts course. Lydia, Rachael, Mel, Holly, Jen (and help from Ash) created this sweded movie in a matter of 3 days. We where all put into groups, and were given a title of a movie that we had to create our own sweded version of. We where given the film Alien which was released in 1979, at first we researched on the internet about what a sweded movie was. This then gave us inspiration to Youtube some of the videos that other people had made of other films, which was then where we started getting some ideas for our own movie. We watched the film and wrote down the key scenes of the film in which we thought would be appropriate to recreate. We used the actual alien movie music in the background of our footage because we thought that it would be suitable as it was used in the actual film. This is the final version of the sweded movie.
